Satan and Angel

The first time when the Angel saw him and the Angel looked into his eyes, she lowered her gaze but Satan did not. He looked into her eyes and something mesmerized him.

Of course the Angel did not know that Satan was Satan. How could the Angel know this? Angels always believe that all hearts can be melted, that all hearts bear deep down sincere goodness. So the Angel just saw good in Satan and Satan was tattered. But the Angel was also afraid of Satan sometimes and she could never understand this revulsion against Satan sometimes as for the Angel Satan was not Satan but a very nice man. But the Angel did notice that Satan, too, was sometimes painfully confused in the company of the Angel. Satan loves darkness but why was he so drawn to the light of the Angel? Why? Can Satan love? But when Satan can love, then Satan is not Satan anymore.

The Angel could be deceived by Satan but Satan himself could not deceive his own heart.

Satan thought the Angel is his.

But the Angel was always God's. So God spoke to the Angel and saved the Angel from Satan.

But Satan who loves darkness was now forever hypnotized by the Angel.

And the Angel was forever changed in her belief that all hearts can be melted and that all hearts bear deep down goodness.

But it was Satan who suffered most, because not only he loved the Angel, who is light and not darkness, but also his bond to the Angel proved to Satan himself that he, Satan, too, is attracted most by God's light and God's light alone.
